Week of June 27, Run 1

Run: 3.0 miles - Pace: 10:12/mi - Week: 3.0 miles - Year: 44.03 miles - 915.59 miles

Not a bad run this morning.  We thankfully are having some much cooler weather, so I got to run in the mid 60's again.  Easy pace, still calf tenderness from last week and some Wii Fit exercising as well.

Week of June 20, 2 runs

Run 1: 3.0 miles - Pace: 10:02/mi - Week: 3.0 miles - Year: 37.03 miles - 908.59 miles

Run 2: 4.0 miles - Pace: 9:51/mi - Week: 7.0 miles - Year: 41.03 miles - 912.59 miles

Well, I'm behind on my log.  I decided last Friday to go for four miles as I didn't have Rachel do to a schedule mishap.  On the other hand, I also had to run in 86+ degree heat as it was later in the day, which also meant I was hit with a lot more sun.  I was quite sore the following day and didn't feel I could run again for a few days after overdoing it like that.

Week of June 13, Run 1

Run: 2.03 miles - Pace: 10:05/mi - Week: 2.03 miles - Year: 29.03 miles - 900.59 miles

Yes, I did run those extra 0.03 miles.  Normally I set the Garmin for a specific distance workout, but wasn't sure if I wanted to do 2 or 3 today.  I could have done three without too much trouble, but my left calf still wasn't comfortable from last week so I stuck with 2.  Also the reason I didn't run on Monday.  I'll play Friday by ear as well, I suppose.

Week of June 6, Run 3

Run: 3.0 miles - Pace: 10:36/mi - Week: 8.0 miles - Year: 27.0 miles - 888.56 miles

Terrible run.  Just awful.  Yes, I had Rachel back but that doesn't nearly explain why this was so slow.  It just hurt right off the bat.  The lower half of my left leg was in bad shape.  The pain wasn't quite enough not to do the run, but I could be wrong about that.  It eased up a bit after the first mile, but didn't get a whole lot easier.  Splits were 11:17, 10:20, 10:10.  My slowest pacing yet, I think.  Also some groin toward the end.

It just seemed to come out of no where.  I was feeling fine (if tired) before the run.  We'll see how monday looks.

Week of June 6, Run 2

Run: 3.0 miles - Pace: 8:59/mi - Week: 5.0 miles - Year: 24.0 miles - 885.56 miles

Not a bad run at all.  Decided to go 3, which with 3 on Saturday will be 8 for the week.  Next week 2, 2, 2, 3.  Gotta get to four runs a week.  The faster pace was due to no Rachel tagging along (or rather, in front).  Had some pain in my left shin and left knee, which I'll be paying a little closer attention to moving forward.

Week of June 6, Run 1

Run: 2.0 miles - Pace: 9:31/mi - Week: 2.0 miles - Year: 21.0 miles - 882.56 miles

Not a bad run this morning.  Thankfully got some cool weather this morning.  Just a little right ankle pain starting out.

Week of May 31, Run 2

Run: 2.0 miles - Pace: 9:43/mi - Week: 4.0 miles - Year: 16.0 miles - 877.56 miles

Yes, I missed Wed's run due to lots of rain.  So I'm down to three runs again this week.  It went fine today save that I was up way too late and hate a bad dinner (lots of cheese) and a few drinks, making my legs feel very weak.  No worries, we'll try again tomorrow (maybe three miles).

Week of May 31, Run 1

Run: 2.0 miles - Pace: 9:40/mi - Week: 2.0 miles - Year: 14.0 miles - 875.56 miles

Not a bad run this morning.  The first mile I ran was right on par with Sat's run, but I didn't feel like pushing much today to get another sub-9:00 second mile.  Have I mentioned I'm doing all these runs with the stroller?

Slight pain in my left knee as I got started, but I'd hardly even consider that minor.

Week of May 24, Run 3

Run: 2.0 miles - Pace: 9:30/mi - Week: 6.0 miles - Year: 12.0 miles - 873.56 miles

Well, I was supposed to run yesterday, but a series of events prevented that from happening.  This morning was a bit cooler, and with an extra day off everything felt great.  8:56 split on the second mile.  Next week I will definitely get in four runs.

Week of May 24, Run 2

Run: 2.0 miles - Pace: 9:41/mi - Week: 4.0 miles - Year: 10.0 miles - 871.56 miles

Not a bad run.  It was a little cooler this morning which helped.  I ran it much faster than Monday, obviously.  Not much to report in terms of pain.  It was just that my calves felt tight as I got started, but once I felt warmed up everything was ok.
