        <![CDATA[<meta charset="utf-8"><i>Run: 3.0 miles - Pace: 10</i><i>:36/mi - Week: 8.0 miles - Year: 27.0 miles - 888.56 miles</i> <div><i><br /></i></div><div>Terrible run. &nbsp;Just awful. &nbsp;Yes, I had Rachel back but that doesn't nearly explain why this was so slow. &nbsp;It just hurt right off the bat. &nbsp;The lower half of my left leg was in bad shape. &nbsp;The pain wasn't quite enough not to do the run, but I could be wrong about that. &nbsp;It eased up a bit after the first mile, but didn't get a whole lot easier. &nbsp;Splits were 11:17, 10:20, 10:10. &nbsp;My slowest pacing yet, I think. &nbsp;Also some groin toward the end.</div><div><br /></div><div>It just seemed to come out of no where. &nbsp;I was feeling fine (if tired) before the run. &nbsp;We'll see how monday looks.</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<meta charset="utf-8"><i>Run: 2.0 miles - Pace: 9:51/mi - Week: 6.0 miles - Year: 6.0 miles - Total: 867.56 miles</i><div><i><br /></i></div><div>Not a bad run this morning, either. &nbsp;My pace has improved each run (which won't continue), but hopefully that means that after a week I'm already settling into it a bit. &nbsp;I wanted to run yesterday, but my legs were feeling awful so I didn't even bother. &nbsp;No sense in pushing anything.</div><div><br /></div><div>I'm considering throwing my weight up here as well, as for the first time in my life I do actually have a goal of losing a few pounds. &nbsp;I've never gained weight like I did over the last year, and while I don't actually know how much I weight, I can see the difference.</div><div><br /></div><div>Next week I'll just shoot for four runs of two miles and see how that goes. &nbsp;One week at a time. &nbsp;No plans and no goals except to steadily improve and keep healthy.</div>]]>
