Run: 3.2 miles - Week: 6.2 miles - Total: 301.2 miles
So I haven't been running in a bit. The cold weather, end of semester, travel, etc... I'm back, and with merely 12 weeks until the Olathe Half Marathon. Thankfully, that is the length of most training programs, so back to the beginning.
Today's run was fantastic. It was a chilly 36° outside and with a light rain. There was something about training outside when most smart people are inside. Makes you feel alive. Actually, I'll be moving the training to the indoor track until the weather gets a bit better, but not until the semester starts. For some reason UMKC charges you if you want to use the rec center between semesters. Summer I could understand, but seriously, that sucks. So I stuck it to the man, by running in the cold rain. Take that!
