I thought I'd comment on something a little less serious before I refer to something that made national news. That something is a new cat that we have.
No, not Rusty, or the other new cat, Minnie, I'm talking about Tigger the Cat. We do not own him, per se, but he has been coming to our back door for a few days now. I'm pretty sure that Carrie has promoted this behavior through some feedings and giving of treats. We aren't sure if he's a stray or has an owner, as there is no collar and he's kind of skinny, but his coat is clean and he's rather playful.
Tigger likes to announce his presence by jumping up and down so that his head becomes briefly visible in one of our back windows, at which point Carrie goes out to say hello as our kitties look on through the back door.
I'll keep you posted as the situation develops.
As for me, I'm in finals week of one of the hardest semesters I've ever had--hence the lack of posting--so I'm definitely looking forward to this summer.
