too stressed
So, apparently this semester is starting to get to me a bit. Here's a brief rundown of everything on my plate for this semester:
- Teaching Piano - only a handful of hours a week, but cuts into evenings
- Piano Lit - wasn't too bad last semester, but we're having to learn a lot more repertoire this time around
- Medieval Music - As with any history course, reading and writing
- Romantic Music - Same as above, except way more reading and writing
- Chamber Music - Learning Beethoven's Op. 1, no. 1 - approx. 30 minutes
- Trombone Recital - Accompanying a trombonist for his masters recital - approx. 60 minutes of music
- Masters Recital - My own recital, on April 28, with another hour of music
It's getting to the point that all this stuff is interrupting my sleep. Not so much the "I can't get to sleep because I'm worried" version, so much as the "Waking up at 2:30, 4:30 and 5:30 without cause" version. Of course, this only makes things a bit worse...
Is it May yet?
